I know what you’re thinking: November just started and we’re already talking about the holidays? Well, with Halloween freshly under our belts, the holidays are starting at the Disneyland Resort, with the season officially kicking-off November 9! The Disney Parks Blog released some details about what we can expect at the Disneyland Resort for the holidays this year and we’re so excited!

One of my personal favorite parts of the holidays at Disneyland Resort is the seasonal decor, and I’m sure our readers agree. Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street U.S.A. will be decorated with festive snow, wreaths, and garlands. Guests can also see the amazing, towering trees on Main Street in Disneyland and on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure. Speaking of Disney California Adventure, the cars of Radiator Springs will have Cars Land decorated and sparkling beautifully. Mater is busy decorating as Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree becomes Mater’s Jingle Jamboree! Mater isn’t the only one with a holiday overlay on his ride. Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters will also receive a holiday overlay and become Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl. Plus, don’t miss “it’s a small world” Holiday! The classic attraction has over 50,000 sparkling lights added to it during the holidays and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Some of our favorite holiday traditions will be returning to the Disneyland Resort this holiday season—the entertainment! November 4 will be the last day to see the “Pixar Play Parade” as “A Christmas Fantasy” parade returns in Disneyland. And, if you have ever wanted to see snow in Southern California, then you’re in luck. The “Believe… in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular will be returning and it ends with a magical finale as snow falls on Main Street! The limited run of the “Paint the Night” parade will also end on November 7 as the Festival of Holidays returns in Disney California Adventure. Feast upon the delicious and diverse holiday treats at the Festive Food Marketplace and take part in the Disney ¡Viva! Navidad Street Party lead by the Three Caballeros! It appears that “World of Color - Season of Light” will not be returning to Disney California Adventure this year as “World of Color” is still under refurbishment until at least late 2018.
