Ever wish you could have gone to “Date Nite at Disneyland” during the park’s early years? Well you’re in luck, as the Disney Parks Blog announced last week that there will be two new Disneyland After Dark events in early 2019: Sweethearts’ Nite and ‘90s Nite!

On the night of Feb. 7, Disneyland will become the “most romantic” place on Earth when Sweethearts’ Nite brings love songs to dance to, romantic photo opportunities, some of our favorite Disney couples, and much more. Speaking of photo opportunities, with each ticket, guests will get complimentary PhotoPass digital downloads all night, as well as a souvenir lanyard, credential, and map themed to the event! Guests will also get to enjoy Mickey’s Mix Magic, a new nighttime fireworks show debuting in January 2019 that celebrates our favorite mouse—Mickey!
The next Disneyland After Dark event that was announced is 90s Nite, which will take place on March 7. Get dressed up in your favorite ‘90s attire, as there will be plenty of throwback photo opportunities. Guests will also get to see some rare characters during this event. Disney is bringing in characters from ‘90s films and The Disney Afternoon!
There will even be a re-imagining of Disney Afternoon Avenue, an area of Disneyland that featured characters from tv shows that aired during the animated programming block called The Disney Afternoon in the ‘90s. Some of these shows include DuckTales, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, and TaleSpin. Each ticketed guest will receive a themed guide map and a fanny pack. Who could say no to a cool Disney fanny pack?

Both Disneyland After Dark events will take place after regular park hours, with Disneyland Park mix-in beginning at 6 p.m. and the events taking place 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets for both of these events will be $99 per person and go on sale for Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders on Nov. 27. Tickets for the general public go on sale the following day, Nov. 28.
