Disney Villains are the stars in New York Fashion Week collection

September 20, 2018

Disney Villains…they are always in our favorite Disney movies to cause trouble for the princesses or heroes, striking fear in the hearts of audiences. Who can help but be intrigued by their mysterious demeanors? Well, besides maybe the Disney Princesses, of course. Either way, there’s no denying the killer style some of the villains have! The designers behind THE BLONDS, David and Phillipe Blond, seem to agree.

THE BLONDS took inspiration from these Disney villains for their Spring ‘19 collection and some of our favorite villains were the stars of the collection’s fashion show on September 7 during New York Fashion Week!

There were plenty of stunning outfits based on Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, the Queen of Hearts, Dr. Facilier and Ursula, along with her sidekick eels, Flotsam and Jetsam. David and Phillipe Blond even studied the original concept art for these villains in order to really get a feel for these characters.  The show also featured some special guests, including Paris Hilton, Patrick Starr and Dominique Jackson.

Some of the pieces featured in the show can even be found as part of the new collection from Lauren Moshi, which is available for pre-order now! If you have a few hundred dollars to spare, the collection can be found here, ranging in price from about $101 to about $990.
