Add Some Disney Magic to Your Work & Study Life!

October 13, 2018

It’s that time of year. We’re all stressed out of our minds and counting down the days the to holiday breaks. Whether it is the stress of midterms or the exhaustion of slogging through long work days, we are all in need of some Disney magic.

We’d argue that the best way to destress and get work done is through Disney music! Here are RC’s music suggestions which are guaranteed to add some pixie dust to your work day.

Show Soundtracks

Some of the most magical times at a Disney Park are spent watching the shows. The soundtracks work perfectly for getting you through those late night work and study grinds. Our personal favorite is the Paint the Night Parade soundtrack. Paint the Night will kill any bad vibe!

Our other favorites include the soundtracks for Happily Ever After fireworks, the World of Color show (toss on the holiday version for some extra good vibes), and Fantasmic! (new or original, we won’t judge). You might just find yourself accidentally quoting “Some imagination, huh?” in the middle of the library.

Attraction Soundtracks

Are you ever in the middle of the work day and wish you could take a spin on Space Mountain or smell the water in Pirates of the Caribbean? Listening to attraction soundtracks can truly transport, placing you in the middle of the magic.

There are so many great options that will perfectly fit your work and study grooves. One of our favorites is the original Soarin’ soundtrack (throwback!). You’ll be smelling that sweet orange grove scent all day long! We love the Spaceship Earth background music just as much. At nearly 30 minutes long, this soundtrack in particular is perfect for turning on and putting you in a productive mood (thank you Phoenicians!).

Sorcerer Radio

We get it. All the choices of Disney music can be very overwhelming. Maybe you don’t know what you’re in the mood to listen to. No worries! Sorcerer Radio has got you covered! Sorcerer Radio has a different theme each hour for playing all things Disney. Whether you are craving some Magic Kingdom tunes, Walt Disney World resort music or a bit of everything, Sorcerer Radio is the way to go.

You can listen on their website or app.

Resort Loops

If you have ever stayed at a Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort hotel, it is likely that hotel feels like your second home. Listening to some resort loops will give you the comfort you need in the most stressful times of work and school.

One of our favorite loops is the soundtrack from the WDW Today channel on the Walt Disney World Resort hotel televisions. With WDW Today, you can listen to hours of Disney instrumentals that are sure to give you plenty of nostalgia. If you want area loops specific to the hotel you usually stay at, search it up on Youtube! There are plenty of resort loops for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World!

Disney Remixes

If you love remixes and electronic music then don’t we have the best suggestion for you! The creator POGO on Youtube makes plenty of Disney electronic remixes from a multitude of different movies.

The remixes are very unique, catchy and great for studying. They will easily get you through an hour of your work (and have you bopping throughout!). Currently, Alice and Wishery are on constant repeat here.

Area Loops

The best music for the study and work grind may be the multi-hour long area loops. The options are endless and any choice is sure to get you in the productive mindset.

A personal favorite is the Walt Disney World Park Music playlist on Youtube. This takes you on a complete tour of Walt Disney World through area loops, queue loops, and ride soundtracks. The playlist will surely last you for your entire work/study time.

If you’re just in the mood for area loops, we have two favorites! The Tomorrowland loop is a techno classic. If you’re missing the PeopleMover, we definitely recommend the Tomorrowland area loop. Our all-time favorite loop is the Main Street USA Loop. There is nothing more quintessentially-Disney than Main Street. The loop will add all the Disney magic you need to your day!
