Take a look at the new Gran Destino Tower in Walt Disney World

August 13, 2019

The multi-year expansion project for the Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World Resort has just been completed! Last week, the Gran Destino Tower officially opened to guests and it is nothing short of gorgeous. Here is a break down of what the new tower offers and a look inside:

This tower adds 545 guest rooms to the resort making the grand total of room 2,835. These new rooms complete the array of renovations that have been taking place across the resort, including reimagining of the original rooms and stores. The new rooms have a very modern design and many feature a beautiful view of the Lago Dorado (Golden Lake) in the center of the resort.

Of all the new offerings, we are most excited about the new dining experiences! The Gran Destino Tower brings us two new restaurants, Tolédo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood and Dahlia Lounge. Tolédo is possibly the most anticipated addition to Coronado Springs Resort due to its rooftop dining feature. This restaurant is located on the 16th floor and offers a gorgeous view of all of Walt Disney World. Enjoy a Spanish cuisine here inspired by the surrealist and avant garde art of 1930s Spain. Dahlia Lounge also offers a beautiful rooftop view along with a full bar. Here, you can enjoy tapas, plates, non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails and many other tasty drinks. If you still want the rooftop experience but with less expensive options, Dahlia Lounge looks like the place to be! The full menu can be seen here

Overall, the Gran Destino Tower looks like a fantastic addition to the Coronado Springs Resort. We are so excited to see the next renovations, reimaginings and new additions come to completion over the next few years leading up to the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
