Disney Parks Blog just announced new rules coming to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. To plan ahead for your next Disney vacation, be sure to read the property rules for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Here is a run-down of the new changes:
Smoking
Beginning May 1, 2019, Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and Downtown Disney District will be smoke free. There will no longer be any designated smoking areas in the theme parks, but there will be some smoking areas outside of park entrances and at Disney Springs in Florida.
Strollers
Strollers will have a restriction of 31” (79 cm) wide and 52” (132 cm) long. While many strollers fit well within these guidelines, stroller wagons will not be permitted inside the parks. One tip to consider is renting a stroller from Disney.
Ice
Beginning today, loose or dry ice will no longer be allowed inside the parks. Be sure to bring reusable ice packs if you plan to bring a cooler or bag. You can also visit Quick-Service dining locations and ask for complementary cups of ice for your cooler.
