The first series Iger discussed was a live-action Star Wars series. Diego Luna will be reprising his role as Rebel spy Cassian Andor in the series, set to take place before the events of Rouge One: A Star Wars Story. This is the second live-action Star Wars series announced for Disney+ It followed news of The Mandalorian, which will be set between the fall of the Empire and the beginning of the First Order.
The next project Iger revealed during this announcement was a live-action series following one of our favorite characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe — Loki, the god of mischief. Of course, Tom Hiddleston will also be reprising his role as Loki in this series.
