On October 4, Chris Evans took to Twitter to announce that the upcoming fourth Avengers film has officially wrapped production. Evans is best known for playing Captain America (Steve Rogers) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In what appears to be a loving tribute to the Cap, Evans also alluded to the end of his time in the MCU, stating that it was an “emotional day” and thanking the crew and audience for the memories.
It appears that after eight years, seven films and many memories, Avengers 4 will see Captain America’s story come to a close. Evans also stated that playing this role has been “an honor” and he is “eternally grateful”.
We return the gratitude for the many years of memories and every amazing Cap moment along the way.
